Hirose has designed a two-part FPC/FFC-to-board connector for harsh environment applications including automotive.

“Featuring a center lock design, the TF70 Series allows for one-handed insertion and removal, with a locking strength of more than 40N. A guide key prevents mis-insertion, and a clear tactile click indicates complete and proper mating,” according to the company.

There are 50 contacts, on a 0.5mm pitch, and both right angle and straight parts are available.

Operation is over -40 to +105°C.
